- Pressed with heatUnder heat and pressure the ink turns to gas and bonds into the coated surface, so the print does not peel or crack.
Sublimation Hub questions
What is sublimation printing?
Sublimation uses heat to turn ink into gas that bonds with polyester or coated surfaces. The print becomes part of the item, so it does not crack or peel.
Should I choose sublimation or DTF for T-shirts?
Sublimation is best for white or light polyester shirts with all-over colour. DTF works on cotton and dark shirts. Tell us the shirt you want and we will advise.
What is a magic mug?
A magic mug looks plain black when cold. When a hot drink is poured in, the coating turns clear and reveals the printed photo or message.
